While I take your point about it being rather more interesting to look at the sociological view of Gender Ideology it’s a much much bigger subject (imo) and one I probably couldn’t do much justice here. I feel like I did a pretty good summary, but you’re welcome to read sociological sources on the topic.

I think it’s mistaken to describe the conservative/anti-feminist usage as just being tossed about on the internet — it has been the subject of an international mass movement, with demonstrations and terrorist connections.
