Honestly regarding the recent World Athletics ruling, I think they've jumped the shark - it's not possible to gather the performance data needed to prove whether it's fair for trans women to compete as athletes, because they're discriminating against the circumstances where such data could be gathered.
And either way, as my challenge was set - it's pretty straightforward. Find a trans woman who outcompetes the best cisgender women. Anywhere. I don't care that much about the circumstances, but that would be enough to prove that it is hypothetically possible for a transitioned transgender woman to be "dominating" at a given sport. But currently, there has not in the entire history of athletics been a trans woman that meets that criteria and any attempt to suggest unfair competition is ignoring that very simple fact.
